As we draw
very near to the Christmas holiday season and the end of the first decade of
the new Millennium, the Isaac Theatre Royal team would like to say a huge
thanks to all our 'Friends' as we close our doors for the Xmas and New Year's
holidays. Our Offices and Ticketek box office will
be closed from Tuesday 22 December at 1pm, re-opening on Monday 11th January
at 10am.
2009 saw
more sold-out performances than the Isaac Theatre Royal has seen since her
refurbishment with shows such as Miss Saigon, Slava's
Snowshow, Fly My Pretties, The Russian Ballet’s
Swan Lake, Rhythms Of Ireland, and most recently Royal NZ Ballet’s Peter Pan
bringing countless thousands of new and regular patrons to the theatre to
experience its Edwardian majesty and ensuring the "HOUSE FULL" sign was a
regular feature outside the Theatre’s main entrance at 145 Gloucester Street…
2010 is
going to be just as good, if not better check out our 2010 forthcoming
attractions, but one show that deserves particular mention is...

The Theatre Royal ClubBeing
largely self-funded, the Isaac Theatre Royal occasionally relies on generous
community grants and public patronage to enable her to deliver regular high
quality productions and to continually maintain the Theatre to required
standards. To continue to realise our objectives,
the Board and Theatre Management are proud to announce the formation of "THE
THEATRE ROYAL CLUB", an exclusive membership programme
for past, present and future Friends of the Theatre. We hope you can join us
in meeting our objectives to ensure the Isaac Theatre Royal stands proudly in
the local, regional, national and international entertainment industry for
years to come.
Membership benefits include
preferential bookings to all Isaac Theatre Royal joint productions and opportunities
for concession prices, where available, on various other presentations. Members also receive an invitation to the
annual Isaac Theatre Royal end of year production or function and the chance
to tour the Theatre hosted by a Theatre Royal Club historian.
Read more or download the
membership
form. There’s a special early bird
rate until 31 January 2010.
