Helfgott is one of the world’s best loved pianists. His remarkable life story was the subject of the Oscar-winning film 'SHINE', which won a Best Actor Award for Geoffrey Rush for his astonishingly accurate performance. David Helfgott will perform ONE ONLY recital at ITR on Tuesday 23rd November with a virtuosic program of popular works by the great romantic composers including Chopin, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninov and, of course, Rimsky-Korsakov’s 'Flight of the Bumblebee', with which he dazzled a worldwide audience at the 1997 Oscars Ceremony. |
